Led by Hospitable District Manager, JCPenney Stores in Puerto Rico Give Back

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, JCPenney features our locations in Puerto Rico with an associate spotlight on Susset Reyes, district manager for the Puerto Rico market. Susset began her career as a JCPenney beauty adviser in 1995 at 17 years old, and now oversees all six Puerto Rico stores.

Susset is a strong advocate for the Company’s philanthropic and supportive presence in the community whenever possible. During recent challenging times – including a devastating hurricane and damaging earthquake tremors on the island – Susset and her teams offered gift card giving sprees at JCPenney stores for local families in need and connected personally with them to offer encouragement.

Leaders can make a significant difference in their communities, and Susset leads with hospitality and positivity each day by taking advantage of every opportunity to impact others. “You can’t see serving the community as a big task that takes time away from you,” she said. “We grow a lot by serving others and their needs.” JCPenney is committed to building strong, vibrant communities and doing our part to improve the communities where we live and work.
