We’re kicking off the new year with an exciting announcement of our $5,000 holiday hiring incentive package winners. To attract and retain top talent for the 2018 holiday season, we introduced an all-new rewards incentive, providing eight lucky associates across JCPenney a chance to win their choice of trip or prize package.
In order to qualify for the drawing on Jan. 3, all hourly associates and seasonal associates in stores, supply chain and call centers, who were employed by the Company through Dec. 29 were eligible to win. The winners have the option of choosing a $5,000 trip to Banff, Alberta, Canada; New York City; or Miami – which includes paid lodging, airfare and entertainment – or $5,000 prize package for a smart home, outdoor, technology or glamour bundle.
Our themed prize packages offer an array of options for our winners. Our technology themed prize package includes a selection of top tech gifts such as a 12-inch MacBook, Apple Watch, Apple AirPods, iPad and wireless speakers while winners who choose our oudoor prize package will receive two hybrid road bikes, a kayak, tent, sleeping bag and camping equipment. Fashion enthusiasts will love our glamour bundle, which includes designer leather tote and stylish watch, diamond bar necklace and one carat diamond earrings. Lastly, for those home automation gurus, our smart home package provides a Arlo™ Pro wire-free indoor and outdoor home monitoring system, along with Philips Hue A19 starter kit, smart home door lock, Nest® thermostat and battery smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
