The Voices of Breast Cancer Survivors at JCPenney
We all have a story of how someone in our life has been impacted by this disease–and this includes our JCPenney associates. Approximately 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. We’re proud to share the inspirational words of JCPenney associate survivors who have experienced firsthand the impacts of being the “one” in that statistic.

Bringing Comfort to the Community
In August, JCPenney donated Fieldcrest® bedding and bath products to the American Cancer Society Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge, a home away from home for cancer patients receiving treatments in Dallas. Watch JCPenney volunteers add a comforting touch to patient rooms:
Early Detection Saves Lives
JCPenney and the American Cancer Society are part of a nationwide effort to encourage everyone to resume recommended cancer screenings, including annual mammograms. Please visit cancer.org to learn about the early warning signs of breast cancer. Screenings increase your chances of detecting cancer early when it may be easiest to treat.
